VILLAGE OF EDMORE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR MICHIGAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDING FOR HOMEOWNER-OCCUPIED REHABILITATION PROGRAM
The Village of Edmore Village Council will conduct a public hearing on May 11, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Curtis Community Building, 209 S. Sheldon St, Edmore, MI 48829 for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant.
The Village of Edmore proposes to use CDBG grant funds in the amount of up to $250,000 for for home repair assistance for qualified Edmore residents and properties. 100% of homes will be occupied by low- or moderate-income households. All activities, upon completion, will benefit low- to moderate- income households. Zero persons will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities and no persons are expected to be displaced.

Comments may be submitted in writing through 4:00pm on the date of the public hearing or made in person at the public hearing.
The Village of Edmore will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as hand signers for the hearing impaired, audio recordings of printed material being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting (and/or hearing) upon 3 working days notice to the Village of Edmore. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Village of Edmore and leave a message which includes (1) who you are/how to contact you, (2) what meeting you wish to attend, (3) what aid you are requesting.
Citizen views and comments on the proposed application are welcome.
