Marijuana Industry
The Village of Edmore welcomes entrepreneurs looking to open their marihuana business. A limited number of both medical marihuana facilities and recreational marihuana establishments are permitted to operate within the B1,B2, and industrial zoning districts in the Village. All marihuana facilitates/establishments must hold a Special Use Permit and be licensed both with the State of Michigan and the Village of Edmore.

Applications
Municipal marihuana license applications will be considered at regularly scheduled Village Council Meetings. An application must be complete and submitted three weeks prior to a meeting to be considered. Before applying for a municipal marihuana license your facility/establishment must have been issued a Special Use Permit from the Edmore Planning Commission. The Planning Commission meets as needs arise. Upon receiving an application for a Special Use Permit a meeting will be called.
