Notice is hereby given that the Village of Edmore Council will hold a regular council meeting at the Curtis Community Building, 209 S. Sheldon Street, Edmore, MI 48829 at 7:00pm on Monday, August 12, 2019.Written correspondence may be addressed to: The Village of Edmore, Box 170, Edmore, MI 48829. This notice is given in compliance with Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1976. Special accommodations for persons with handicapping conditions who plan to attend the meeting will be provided if such persons will contact the Village of Edmore office at 989-427-5641 in advance of the meeting.

Please take notice that the Edmore Downtown Development Authority will hold a public meeting on WEDNESDAY, January 2, 2018 at 6 P.M. The Edmore DDA will discuss setting the DDA 2019 Budget. The meeting will be held at The Marketplace, (Bag Building) 544 E. Forrest St., Edmore, Michigan, (989) 427-5641. The public will have the opportunity to make comments at the meeting and may submit written comments in advance. Comments should be addressed to: The Village of Edmore, PO Box 170, Edmore, MI 48829. This notice is given in compliance with Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1976. Edmore, MI 48829 at 7:00pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 to take public comment on the following:
“260-95 Noise Ordinance”
All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and be heard. Additional information may be obtained from Edmore Village Office, 209 S. Sheldon Street, Edmore, MI 48829, during regular business hours – 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a special council meeting on April 20, 2018, the Village of Edmore received the Proposed Consumers Energy Company Gas and/or Electric Franchise Ordinance (“Proposed Ordinance”). The Proposed Ordinance would grant Consumers Energy Company a nonexclusive franchise from the Village to construct, maintain and commercially use electric lines and do local electric business within the Village of Edmore. The Proposed Ordinance will be considered for adoption on May 14, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., at the Village Council meeting at the Curtis Community Building at 209 S. Sheldon Street, Edmore, MI 48829.
