The Edmore Village Council approved an increase of $1.17 per month of the water rate at the May 9, 2016 council meeting. The combined monthly water and sewer rate for residential consumers will be $55.62 starting June 1st for July billing.
The village water system will be receiving major infrastructure upgrades over the next several years. These upgrades are unavoidable given the age of the system and requirements by state and federal agencies to ensure water quality to village consumers.
