Village Office Closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 23rd.

The Edmore Village Office will be closed Thanksgiving Day and on Friday, November 22. The office will be open for business on Monday November 26th at 9:00 am. The drop box is always available if you need to make a water/sewer payment. The employees of the Village of Edmore would like to wish you and your family a safe and bountiful Thanksgiving Day.

Planning Commission Meeting, November 13th @ 6:00pm

The Edmore Planning Commission will be holding a meeting Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Curtis Community Building located at 209 S. Sheldon Street, Edmore, MI 48829.

Matters to be discussed will include the Master Plan Proposals and Site Plan Review for Parcel 041-627-044-01.

The public will have the opportunity to make comments at the meeting and may submit written comments in advance. Comments should be addressed to: The Village of Edmore, PO Box 170, Edmore, MI 48829. This notice is given in compliance with Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1976. Special accommodations for persons with handicapping conditions who plan to attend the meeting will be provided if such persons will contact the Village of Edmore office at 989-427-5641 in advance of the meeting.the Curtis Building/Village Office, 209 S. Sheldon Street, Edmore, Michigan.

DDA Meeting on Wednesday, November 7 @ 12:00pm

Please take notice that the Edmore Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will hold a public meeting on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2018 at 12:00p.m. The Edmore DDA will discuss the Edmore Marketplace project, downtown projects, budget and other related matters. The meeting will be held at The Curtis Building 209 S. Sheldon St., Edmore, Michigan, (989) 427-5641.

Village Office Closed on November 12th

In observance of Veterans Day the Edmore Village Office will be closed on Monday, November 12th. The Village Council Meeting scheduled for November 12th @ 7:00pm is rescheduled for November 13th @ 7:00pm. The drop box is always available and water/sewer payments will be posted to the next the business day.
The village office will be reopen 9:00am on Tuesday, November 13th.

Daylight Savings Time Ends November 4th

Daylight saving time (DST) ends at 2 a.m. on November 4th, don’t forget you need to set your clocks back (“fall back”) one hour before going to bed on Saturday. It’s also a great time to make sure to test your smoke detectors to make sure they are working.

Trick or Treat Hours In The Village

Trick or Treat Hours on Halloween in the Village of Edmore will be between 5:00-7:00pm.
Please remember when out to:
– Cross at crosswalks or streets without any traffic
– Wear or carry some manner of illumination.
– Avoid unlit Homes.
– Stay on sidewalks.
– If there is no sidewalk, walk near the curb, facing traffic.
– Never assume a car will see you.
– Go out in a group.
– Dress for the weather.
Play is safe and have a Spooky Good Time!
