Special Council Meeting July 23, @ 7:00pm

Notice is hereby given that the Village of Edmore Council will hold a special council meeting at the Curtis Community Building,
209 S. Sheldon Street,Edmore, MI 48829 at 7:00pm on Monday, July 23, 2018.

Items to be discussed include setting a public hearing for the adoption/amendment of the village noise ordinance, S. 10th Street Improvement Project, ELF Fund and a request for the closure of 4th Street during the Edmore Potato Festival.

Written correspondence may be addressed to: The Village of Edmore, Box 170, Edmore, MI 48829. This notice is given in compliance with Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1976. Special accommodations for persons with handicapping conditions who plan to attend the meeting will be provided if such persons will contact the Village of Edmore office at 989-427-5641 in advance of the meeting.

Edmore Marketplace Open House July 20th 11:00am-1:30pm

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the open house for Edmore’s Four Season Marketplace on July 20, from 11:00am-1:30pm. This open house is for citizens, potential vendors from the Village of Edmore, Montcalm County and the Central Michigan Region. There will be a door prize giveaway and building tours. The Marketplace is located at 544 E. Forrest Street.

Chip Sealing of Village Streets Starts on July 9th

The Village of Edmore and Montcalm County Road Commission will begin chip sealing streets in Edmore beginning on Monday, July 9th.
Streets to Chip Sealed Include:
North Street
Moore Street From Forrest Street to M-46/Main
Charlotte Street
Forrest Street from 5th Street to Maple Street
N. 5th Street from E. Gilson to North Street
East Pine From 5th Street to Lewis Street
Lewis Street from East Pine to M-46/Main

The County Road Commission will remove chip/stone that may end up in residents yards before sealing.

DDA Meeting on Wednesday, July 11 @ 6:00pm

Please take notice that the Edmore Downtown Development Authority will hold a public meeting on WEDNESDAY, JULY 11th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The Edmore DDA will discuss the Edmore Marketplace project, and other related matters. The meeting will be held at The Curtis Building 209 S. Sheldon St., Edmore, Michigan, (989) 427-5641.

The public will have the opportunity to make comments at the meeting and may submit written comments in advance. Comments should be addressed to: The Village of Edmore, PO Box 170, Edmore, MI 48829. Village Office Closed Wednesday, July 4th

The Village of Edmore Offices will be closed Wednesday, July 4th for Independence Day. Office will be re-open Thursday at 9:00 am. The office drop box is always available if you wish to make a water/sewer or tax payment.

2018 Water Supply Consumer Confidence Report Available

The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) Rule requires community water supplies to annually report to their customers on the quality of the drinking water and the sources of that water, and to characterize the risks (if any) from exposure to contaminants detected in the water.
