NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VACATING AND ABANDONING THE PORTION OF NORWAY STREET WEST OF NORTH TENTH STREET IN THE PLAT OF PRESTON & CO’S ADDITION TO EDMORE 

MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 2025, 7:00 PM

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council for the Village of Edmore will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Curtis Community Building, 209 South Sheldon Street, Edmore, Michigan.  The purpose of this public hearing is to hear public comments regarding the vacating and abandoning of the portion of Norway Street West of North Tenth Street in the Plat of Preston & Co’s Addition to Edmore.  Citizens attending this hearing have the right to provide written and oral comments regarding the proposed vacation and abandonment of the portion of Norway Street West of North Tenth Street in the Plat of Preston & Co’s Addition to Edmore.   All aspects of the vacation and abandonment will be open for discussion at the public hearing.

At the time set for the hearing, the Village Council shall provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard and shall receive and consider communications in writing.  Written correspondence may be addressed to The Village of Edmore, Box 170, Edmore, MI 48829. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AN AMENDMENT TO THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR THE VILLAGE OF EDMORE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY – MONDAY, APRIL 14, 2025, 7:00 PM

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council for the Village of Edmore will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Curtis Community Building, 209 South Sheldon Street, Edmore, Michigan.  The purpose of this public hearing is to hear public comment regarding an amendment to the tax increment financing plan for the Village of Edmore’s Downtown Development Authority.  The proposed amendment to the tax increment financing plan will increase the tax capture for the Edmore DDA from 60% to 80%.  Citizens attending this hearing have the right to provide written and oral comments regarding the proposed increase in tax capture from 60% to 80%.  The Development Area of the Village of Edmore Downtown Development Authority is not being changed or altered.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Michigan Compiled Laws 15.261-15.275 and 141.411-141.415, that the VILLAGE OF EDMORE will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Curtis Community Building, 209 South Sheldon Street, Edmore, Michigan. The purpose of this public hearing is to hear public comment on the proposed budget for the Fiscal year 2025-2026. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. Citizens attending this hearing have the right to provide written and oral comments regarding the proposed budget. A copy of the entire proposed budget is available for public inspection after February 3, 2025, during regular business hours at the Edmore Village Office, 209 South Sheldon Street, Edmore, Michigan.
