The Village Council is considering the passage of two ordinances to allow a limited number of medical and recreational marihuana businesses to operate in the B1, B2, and Industrial districts. There has been no vote on these ordinances as the Council is still weighing their options carefully. Additionally, if these ordinances are passed, an amendment to the zoning ordinance will be required to allow for these businesses to operate in the proposed districts.
