The Village of Edmore is seeking a dynamic and creative leader to serve as the Director of the Edmore Downtown Development Authority and Manager of the recently renovated Edmore Marketplace. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and self–motivated individual that will proactively work to ensure the Village is leveraging its resources to make the Edmore Downtown and Marketplace a destination not only in Montcalm County but within the region. This is a newly created position and the ideal candidate will understand the trends in the economy and the role of local government in placemaking and quality of life while fostering business development. The position shall serve at the pleasure and will of the Edmore DDA Board under the supervision of the DDA Board Chair. The position is open until filled. Due to the milder weather the region is experiencing, it is recommended that residents in the village no longer need to let there water run from a sink tap. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the village office.

The Edmore Village Office will be closed to observe Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on Monday, December 25th and Tuesday, December 26th. The Village Office will have regular hours from 9:00am-5:00pm December 27th – 29th. The Village Office will be closed to observe New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day on Monday, January 1st and Tuesday, January 2nd. If you need to make a water/sewer payment the drop-box is always available.

Please take notice that the Edmore Downtown Development Authority will hold a public meeting on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held at The Maxfield Inn located at 1106 E Main St, Edmore, MI 48829.

The Edmore DDA will discuss the Edmore Marketplace project, DDA member appointments, DDA budget and other related matters.
