Compost and Mulch Available
The Village of Edmore Department of Public Works offers free compost and mulch as a service to residents of the Village of Edmore. The compost site is located on 11th Street and open every Tuesday till the end of fall leaf collection. Residents must bring their own container and shovel. No motorized loading equipment is allowed. Rolling Trash Carts to Be Delivered Starting July 18th
Rolling trash carts should start arriving to your doorstep starting Tuesday, July 18th. Information will be included with each cart to answer most residents questions. If delivery to your house is missed please wait a day as Waste Management may take to the end of the week to get them distributed. UPDATE: Waste Management expects to be completed by Wednesday, July 26. The village staff will do our best to make sure all residential properties receive their rolling cart. Trash and Brush Pick-up Scheduled for July 5th
With the 4th of July falling on Tuesday this year trash and brush pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, July 5th. All trash needs to be bagged and tagged. Rolling trash containers/carts will be delivered by Waste Management starting the 2nd week in July. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the village offices.
Village Offices to Be Closed July 3rd and July 4th.
The Edmore Village Offices will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July on July 3rd and 4th. The drop box at the village office is available 24 hours a day for water payments. The office will reopen on July 5th at 9:00am. For a DPW emergency please call central dispatch.
2016 Water Supply Consumer Confidence Report Now Available
This year, as in years past, your tap water met all State drinking water health standards. Our DPW employees vigilantly safeguards the water systems and its groundwater supply, and we are able to report that the department had NO violation of a contaminant level or of any other water quality standard in the previous year. This report covers the period of time from January 1st- December 30th. This report summarized the quality of water that we provided last year, including details about where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. Copies will be sent out with the Village Property Tax Bill and available at the office and by clicking VILLAGE OF EDMORE WATER SUPPLY 2017.
