With the 4th of July falling on Tuesday this year trash and brush pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, July 5th. All trash needs to be bagged and tagged. Rolling trash containers/carts will be delivered by Waste Management starting the 2nd week in July. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the village offices.
Village Offices to Be Closed July 3rd and July 4th.
The Edmore Village Offices will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July on July 3rd and 4th. The drop box at the village office is available 24 hours a day for water payments. The office will reopen on July 5th at 9:00am. For a DPW emergency please call central dispatch.
2016 Water Supply Consumer Confidence Report Now Available
This year, as in years past, your tap water met all State drinking water health standards. Our DPW employees vigilantly safeguards the water systems and its groundwater supply, and we are able to report that the department had NO violation of a contaminant level or of any other water quality standard in the previous year. This report covers the period of time from January 1st- December 30th. This report summarized the quality of water that we provided last year, including details about where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. Copies will be sent out with the Village Property Tax Bill and available at the office and by clicking VILLAGE OF EDMORE WATER SUPPLY 2017. Planning Commission Meeting, Friday, June 9th
The Edmore Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting at 12:00pm on June 9th. Items to be discussed will include the Parks Plan, review of the Capital Improvement Plan and sign ordinance. This notice is given in compliance with Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of Michigan, 1976. Special accommodations for persons with handicapping conditions who plan to attend the meeting will be provided if such persons will contact the Village of Edmore office at 989-427-5641 in advance of the meeting.
Farmer’s Market Starts Friday, June 9
The 2017 Edmore Farmers Market will be held every Friday beginning June 9th from 8 am until 1 pm and every Tuesday beginning June 13th from 2 pm to 6 pm weather permitting. Household Hazardous Waste Collection is Saturday, June 3
The Montcalm County Solid Waste Management Committee is sponsoring a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day. It is scheduled for Saturday, June 3rd from 9:00am-2:00pm at the Montcalm Area Career Center, located at 155 W. Sidney Rd. in Howard City. For more information please click here.
